Liveries

Twin Oaks Equestrian Centre offers both Full and Part Livery Services. The facilities have been built to encourage people that are competition orientated but we are happy to welcome people that have an understanding and caring attitude towards their horse(s) and want to be in a like minded environment whether they compete or not. We can assure you that whatever service your horse requires it will be catered for here.

Full Livery

Full livery is what it says, we take care of every aspect of your horses day to day needs seven days a week, this includes: standard feed, haylage, bedding, mucking out, turn out and catch in, including changing rugs, exercise according to the horses training needs, grooming and trimming, plaiting for shows, cleaning tack, arranging for farrier and vet visits as neccesary (payable by owner). If you wish to ride and want your horse ready for you all you need to do is call and we will get your horse ready for you to go when you arrive.

Part Livery

This is also a seven day service, part livery includes all the above services with exception to exercise, cleaning tack, grooming, plaiting and trimming. Exercise is available by pre arrangement and would be invoiced in arrears.

Fees

Livery fees are invoiced monthly in advance and should be paid within seven days.
Full Livery is £150 per week
Part Livery is £105 per week

Farriers

You are welcome to use your own farrier or I can recommend one for you.  I am happy to arrange and organise your farrier visits and stand with your horse if neccesary. Farrier Fees are your responsibility and settled separately.

Veterinary

You can be assured that we will take the utmost care for your horse but if for whatever reason your horse requires a visit from the vet we will contact you and keep you informed of progress. I can also arrange for your annual booster jabs to be carried out. All veterinary fees must be paid for by the owner directly to the veterinary practice. If your horse requires ongoing veterinary care we are happy to carry this out for you at no extra cost although any products used will be charged for with your monthly invoice

Extras

At Twin Oaks we follow a strict worming programme for the well being of your horse, we will worm all horses together and the cost of the wormer will be invoiced at the end of the month. A standard feed will be supplied for your horse but if he/she requires any supplements or additives these can be supplied by you or I am happy to source them for you but this would be added to your bill at the end of the month.

Safety

Whilst riding on the premises it is policy that all riders are correctly dressed and wear correct headgear to current BSI standards, anyone wishing to ride without correct headwear must sign a disclaimer. Riders using the showjumps for practice are expected to have support / back-up from someone on the ground at all times. Twin Oaks operates a no smoking policy anywhere on the yard.

Accompanying Tack & Equipment

It is expected that all horses will have their own equipment for their comfort and well being.  All items of tack, rugs and equipment should be clearly marked with the horses/owners name.

Security

I or one of my staff will be on site 24 hours 7 days a week for the security of the horses. Late night checks will be carried out on all horses and the facilities.
