Welcome

Trudy and Nigel Johnson welcome you to Twin Oaks Equestrian Centre, a purpose built 37 acre site situated just outside of MTwin Oaks Stablesursley, Near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The stables enjoy a priviledged position on the outskirts of Milton Keynes sat in the centre of approximately 2,000 acres of open countryside with easy access to adjoining Bridleways.

Trudy has been working with horses for 24 years since her first pony at 9 years of age and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge that will ensure horses stabled at Twin Oaks Equestrian Centre will be very well cared for. Trudy has a Diploma in Equine & Business Studies from Bishop Burton Agricultural College, her BHS Assistant Instructor and Stage 4 Horsemanship and Riding certificate. In addition Trudy has managed or groomed on a variety of Yards and has spent time as assistant groom with a prominent Equine Vetinary Practice.

Having competed to Foxhunter level Showjumping (including Royal Windsor) plus Eventing and Dressage at a variety of levels, Trudy is well trudy & worzelaware of the facilities required to prepare horses both physically and mentally for competition. Twin Oaks Equestrian Centre was built with this in mind. All the needs are fully catered for, whether you are a serious competitor / hunter or a happy hacker.

The facilities include a spacious 60 x 30 metre sand and rubber menage that allows your horse the space to go through its paces. The menage is also able to support a full showjumping course for training.

A 5 bay horsewalker laid with block paved rubber will ensure that your horse can be kept fit and injury free without wearing down its shoes.

ThPaddocks & vIEWere are 8 post and rail paddocks, each one around 2 to 3 acres, that provide winter grazing and two summer fields of 8 and 12 acres that will ensure turnout is always available if required. The fields are surrounded by a post and rail grass gallop that, during the summer months, will allow off road exercise.

Finally,  the spacious Tack Room, Day Room, Toilet and Kitchen facilities will ensure that you can spend many hours socialising with like minded people in comparative comfort.

Both Trudy and Nigel look forward to hearing from you and would be very happy to show you around on a personal tour.
